Some Excerpts from the discourses of HIS HOLLINESS PARAM SANT HAZOOR VIJAY DAYAL SHOONYO JI MAHARAJ
A prayer is just opening up oneself and waiting in silent surrender, in egolessness, not desiring, not demanding. It is a silent dialogue with the Self, a dialogue with Existence, with the divine universality of the cosmic Consciousness. It is a love relationship of cosmic dimensions. A prayer is deep love for the entire universe. It is a love song from the center of your humble and innocent heart expressed in a language without words, without speech, without form. Prayer is to stand in reverential obeisance under the rainy heavens to wash away one’s dross and to purify oneself through and through.
He who is sad, worried, frustrated, stressful, angry or anxious cannot be religious.
A religious life means a life of joy, of love, of festivity, of rejoicing, of celebration.
A truly religious person is deeply spiritual.
Meditation is a transcendence into a sublime state of no-body, no-mind, no-intellect, no-form, where there is full knowledge, full freedom, full libration. It is a divine path from the periphery to the center, from the abyss to the apex, from the hell to the heaven, from gloom to glee, from anxiety to ecstasy, form misery to mirth, from turmoil to total bliss, from serfdom to self-emancipation, from the ephemeral to the eternal, from untruth to truth.
